Hey there! This week at TWS was a bit quiet. Sometimes things pile up and I have a lot of work to do, and on top of that some artists don't respond in a timely manner. Other times, I find myself playing the guitar or working on my own collages, which takes up a lot of my time, and unfortunately that leaves little time for me to move forward with TWS. Anyway, that’s life.
Inspiration
Last week, as happens every week of the year, our correspondent from the future, our beloved Cless, delighted us with an artist for our Monday inspiration. This week's feature was the wonderful work of Kathleen Ryan, with her sculptures made from colorful minerals and stones. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check out the post on our website.
Mac Premo
Another highlight that we enjoyed this week was from one of our favorite artists, Mac Premo. Mac, who was interviewed in the first season of our podcast, recently opened an exhibition featuring a new series of paper works. To explain the creative process behind these pieces, he made a video that is truly amazing.
So, if you haven't listened to the episode of our podcast with Mac, don't waste any more time and enjoy it right now here. And please, don't miss the video he recently released.
All the info related to Mac’s show can be found here (even though the show closed on April 23rd).
Books
To wrap up the week, once again Cless has shared another book from his library filled with gems of collage art. This week, the spotlight was on a publication from the great THS (who is also part of our podcast series, you can listen it here).

That's all for this week. If you have anything interesting to share, you can do so through our email or on our Substack. Remember that we are here to build together what we understand as collage. So please, share this with anyone who is interested in the matter, because the more the merrier :)
See you soon!
Max.
